Chilled Delivery
Our chilled delivery costs £8.50. This is due to the extra care and materials required to ensure chilled products are not damaged during transit. We offer free delivery on chilled orders over or equal to £70. We ship chilled orders with fast track next day delivery service. All products will be sent in insulated packaging to ensure items are kept at the correct temperature during transit (max 48 hours). Orders containing chilled goods are dispatched Monday to Thursday. We do not send such orders between Friday and Sunday to ensure products are not delayed.
We will always strive to deliver orders in a timely manner, however it is your obligation to supply a full and accurate address for delivery and to ensure there is someone present to accept the parcel and ensure the products are chilled immediately upon receipt. You absolve us of any liability for the condition of the products when there is a delivery problem due to an incomplete or inaccurate delivery address having been provided, or if the courier is unable to leave the order at the address provided, regardless of any instructions provided. You also acknowledge it is up to you to scrutinise all products received for any indication of not being fit to consume, and to let us know of any problems within 24 hours of receipt.
We strongly advise that you or a designated representative be present at the delivery address to receive your order. Tracking details will be provided via email to facilitate your planning. In the event of an unsuccessful delivery attempt, you consent to your order being returned to the courier's depot for subsequent redelivery. Please be aware that this may result in temporary storage conditions that deviate from optimal temperature requirements, although our packaging is designed to maintain appropriate temperatures for several days.
Current courier service do not require signature confirmation, potentially resulting in unattended delivery of chilled items. While couriers are instructed to select secure locations, there is a risk of parcels being left in visible areas. We cannot assume liability for parcels that are misplaced under these circumstances.
Please note that the statutory 14-day return period for ambient temperature products does not extend to chilled items. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept that unforeseen delays may occur during transit or storage, potentially resulting in temporary deviations from manufacturer-recommended temperature guidelines. You agree that products remain safe for consumption within reasonable timeframes outside of these recommended conditions.
We reserve the right to dispatch chilled orders in multiple shipments in cases of stock unavailability or delays.
